• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

Last week, alongside installing my heated grips, I took on another DIY project with a 3rd party CarPlay/Nav/Dashcam system from Carpuride, which I picked up on Amazon. This setup is pretty well-built, I must say. I've fully hardwired it, with both front and rear dash cams that are now continuously recording. I've mounted on Stelvio's inbuilt GPS mount bar right on top of the existing TFT display, blending everything into a clean, integrated look.

Here's how the finished install looks:

It's a game-changer for navigation and safety, all while keeping the aesthetics of the bike intact.

My son recently installed one on his friends bike and was so impressed that he is now considering getting one for his own.

The Carpuride display is awesome, I have an older W702 version. It's never failed to pair at startup. If you get a chance, post a picture of the active screen with the rear view camera, navigation screen and music/podcast windows opened. After just six months with my current unit, I would be willing to upgrade for a version with a seamless rear view camera.
