Since 2 weeks :) steep learning curve. A friend of mine had (35 years back) a V7 Sport which I helped maintain - memories coming back. The bike was stored indoors for 25 years but the tank was rusted out, so I can share lots of info on replacing fuel lines, washing and coating the tank itself...hope to have it ready to run full throttle by the weekend.
Need some tips and tricks for replacing the speedometer cable, it stopped working out of the blue. The top end is still attached but the cable housing is lose and I can pull out the inner cable - maybe it just needs reattaching?
Anyway - more to come...
Andreas
