A moment of remembrance for the lives lost on this day 20 years ago… To those who were incredibly unfortunate to be victims, and those who sacrificed their lives to help others. Some of the documentaries that are showing right now have incredible stories being shared.
As stated in the main section, I had just launched GuzziTech days prior to this… so it always hits me a little extra this time of year.
My good friend in Boston lost his wife, as she was a stewardess on the first plane (AA11) into the towers. They had just had a second baby. I was very removed from it all being here in SoCal, but it still impacted me heavily. I visited the twin towers on a high school trip in 1986, and was in and around NYC for 15 years growing up in MD and school in Boston.
Anyway, also thanks to all of those reading this that may still be helping defend this country and abroad for the insanity that created this day 20 years ago. Godspeed to those who lost their lives and loved ones. Ride today if you can in their honor, and in remembrance to Carlo (Moto) Guzzi as well. Cheers.

Distant cousin.

I didn’t know him personally although he was known to be a stellar guy.

Small world though. So many terrible losses that day.

He sure did. I watched several 20-year documentaries over the weekend. Amazing resilience of so many, and sad for the stories that ended tragically beyond 9/11.
