Hi all, I am wondering if anyone out there would know that after Italy where is moto guzzis biggest market. I read somewhere it was germany but I don`t know if this is true, could any one help me on this subject. Cheers Chipper

You thinking about opening a new dealership???

We need some good ones here

No mate my love of motorcycles would go if it became my work. I am just nosey.Chipper

I would think France is a big market, with people like Charles Krajka and Motobel supporting the marque for years

I know Moto Bel, would have bought there if they'd have let me test-ride a Norge (or the V11 Lemans they had in at the time). It's really a tiny dealership, but they do mean something for the marque. Have a look at my recent thread about the Bol d'Or Classic, which links to a few pics and videos showing some of their racers.

I think indeed France or Germany come in 2nd after Italy.

To put things into perspective: the only Guzzis I saw during my summer '07 trip to the North of Italy were 2 foreign ones on the Bernhard pass from Switzerland to Aosta, and one crappy old Florida in Aosta.

Guess Germany is right; they're about 1200 bikes a year.
Out of 10000 thats quite a big part.
And Guzzi is even mentioned in those fancy power-point pancakes on German motorcycle-sales, shown in the magazines! (-at about or slightly more than 1%) :woohoo:

I'm in Italy once or twice a year, and do very seldom see a Guzzi (exception is Mandello); maybe once or twice over a two-week period. Really don't think the Italian market is bigger - but I don't know.

Isn't Spain, BTW, the biggest MC-market overall in Europe? Alberto, where are you?
