Hi Everyone!

I currently own a 2023 Yamaha MT-09 SP, and I've become intrigued with the MG v85's models.

I would like to ask your advice and recommendations:
I would like to take longer rides and I'm interested in a road biased v85 model. I'm not interested in off-road, or perhaps just a fire trail.

The new 2025 Strada seems perfect (and pricey), but I've been also looking at used 2022 v85TT's offered here in CA.
I went to the dealer and sat on one, but I have not done a test ride. Seems the dealers don't encourage it.
I do my own maintenance on my Yamaha and would like to do so on any MG v85 I acquire.

I'm interested in a "base" version of a v85 and would welcome any advice or recommendations!

Also:
If I understand correctly, the 2024+ models of the v85 are required to be serviced by the dealer to clear codes. A special tool is required. Can I get more info on this please?
If so, then I suppose I should look at getting a 2022/2023 model.

Thanks,
Burt
