If you’re saying I should do a search, I did try several searches before I asked. I couldn’t find my question answered. The search return also explains that it doesn’t include the word “oil” in the search because it’s too short. Same with “750”.
I don’t know how someone is supposed to get an oil question answered if the word oil is ignored in the request.

AGIP/ENI 5W40 100% SYNTHETIC RACING OIL is the official Factory oil for Piaggio and Vespa brand scooters.
Know that the OEMs will often take direction based on what they know they can supply (and ultimately make sizable profit on). I lived deeply in this brand through that time period, and trust me, NO ONE I KNOW (INCLUDING DEALERS) used 5w-40.
Many good options out there. Most important fact is the oil level I noted above.
