Just got it firing!
Hi guys, I am a new rider, just got my V7 II special a few weeks ago and I love it. It got back from its first (1000km) inspection the other day and I noticed a scratch on the outside of the cylinder, not big, but deep enough for the silver metal underneath to poke through. Some tool must have slipped during inspection. Rather than go back all the way to the mechanic and complain, I'd rather just address this issue myself. I am not so much concerned with looks, just worried this might lead to some type of corrosion later down the road. Should I be worried or just leave it be? Maybe it's completely trivial. Touch it up with some heat-resistant black paint? (I don't even know if the black surface on the cylinders is paint or some other coating material). Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
