I have seen this for sale on line. It looks the same as the Guzzi item off my 1200 Sport, only cheaper. They are used by many car makes. Look pretty generic to me and Italian.

Does anybody know if they are the same and can be used on a Guzzi 1200 Sport?

You need to check resistance values. If they match the ones for the Guzzi air temp sensor then it can be used. The P8 manual in the downloads lists the values for the air temperature sensor.

The info needed is in the service manual very plain about testing and specs. Manual is in downloads.
If it has same specs & plugs in, I'd use it. There is an automotive phase sensor for timing that matches & works fine for 1/4 price Guzzi wants. The P8 FI manual tells a better description than newer manuals on the same sensors. I like that book.
