I recently deleted a post that referred to a link to a product. I was unaware of the Forums protocol on these type of posts, and have since retracted this from the forum as soon as I was made aware.

I am located in a smaller city in Australia, and rely on this type of Forum for general information- Which is incredible valuable.

I would like to sincerely apologies for this error, and regret offending anyone on this forum.

Everyone makes mistakes. Don't worry about it.

Thanks Russ. From the landing home page, and the scrolling paragraphs at the top of every page, it notes that I have spent an immense amount of money and time to offer this free website, that offers collective wisdom, documenting work, and answers to questions here. On topics I have dedicated more than two decades (and documenting here), I have created a portal via the STORE link at the top of every page (or the three dashes upper left on a mobile device) to offer products that are proven to work. Many of them, including fueling solutions, are those that are only available on the GTM STORE using my R&D. For fueling options, there are other options out there you can waste money on (and risk disaster as you noted), but none have shown proof like I have on the 1400 (link below), V85TT or most any other Guzzi model for that matter. Spend a little time on the top of every section, or always try a search or two before posting. Items on the Store, and donations to the site HERE (like a small handful of others have done), help keep it alive. Appreciate the understanding, thanks for deleting it.

Thanks for your understanding, and I think I appreciate the Blog a little better now.

I have a 2014 - 1400 Cali Tourer and am having dramas with a hanging throttle. I took my bike to the mechanic and explained this, however after $440 it didn't fix the throttle issue, and now I have an amber warning light on the dash. These guys try there best, but I just don't think anyone in my area has or knows how to re-map a MG ECU.
I am looking to attempt this myself without my bike self destructing. I recently installed a dodgy battery - Now the engine immobiliser doesn't work (I installed the loop to bypass the immobiliser) , and I have this throttle issue- Performance seems ok though.

Can you explain to me what I need to re-map my bike. I have a K&N Filter installed and Agostini Pipes. Please be mindful that I am not mechanically literate. Any advice may need to be "Dummed" down for me to understand. I am happy to buy any gear I need, but it needs to be close to idiot proof for me to be successful.
Your thoughts?

Best to ask this question via the contact tab in the store. You can start by looking here https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/fueling And with a search there is an entire thread on hanging throttle. https://www.guzzitech.com/forums/threads/california-1400-hanging-throttle.14996/
