I just got some NOS aftermarket head pipes for my SPII and installed them while I had the tool box open I did the tappet clearence, headbolt retorquing dance,also thought balancing the carbs were in order. After all was said and done it ran better and sounds awesome but now my ''new'' pipes are blue like my old ones were. Last year I did upgrade to 36 mm PHF and installed them to Euro Spada specs, it was lean then I went up one size on the mains. Why did my pipes go blue this time? any Ideas to check would be appreciated.
