I put new brake fluid front and rear over the winter. I did a 300 mile trek thru the Shen Valley and West VA yesterday. It was a beautiful 55F day albeit quite windy - had to lean into the cross wind - but I think the brakes responded better. Maybe I was trying to be cautious and not grab, but to slightly feather/touch the front brake and apply the rear brake as well. It was so nice and I hit 12000 miles too. Reminder: I got the 2014 bike with 2000 miles on it 18months ago and put on 10000 miles already. All fluids have been changed as required and plugs and valve adjustment as well. Seems to be hitting its stride about now - feeling one with the bike. Just so smooth at 3000rpm/60mph in 6th gear with cruise control. The hills were no problem and shifting was a delight. I forgot to eat though….

I feel the same wsy when I ride my Eldorado 1400.

Happy for you!
