Brake Fluid replacement question

I have read thru the forums on brake fluid replacement for all different Guzzi’s with ABS. There is nothing here indicating that I need special software or tools with an ABS system to replace the fluid. I can proceed with filling fluid, bleeding the fluid at the caliper and making sure there is fluid in the system at all times thus keeping air out of the system. Is this correct? I read the detailed explanation in one posting for a different guzzi other than a CA 1400 and that applies here as well? Just confirming before I proceed. Thx.

I think....and stand to be corrected that you can bleed them as you describe, the same way brakes were bled pre ABS. However there will be some small amount of old fluid left in the ABS pump.
