KD12825 is the frame & VIN number, according to the plate on the frame and to its registration document. KD12826 = engine number.
Is/should there be an additional number elsewhere on the bike?

Hi Nordicnorm,
I keep my bike, a 2003 California SS in Nanaimo but live in Edmonton so only ride when on holiday. Since I only purchased it in Novemmber that has been once, loved every minute of it. I will message you when we are headed back in August. Dave
