Hello,
I am new here and my English is not the best.
My problem is that my V9 will not charge the battery.
The generator seems to work 35volt/Ac in idle, every phase
The regulator is new
on the battery i can meassure only 12,4Volt with running engine.
Without running engine the same.
Has anyone an idea for me?

Do a search here for the 2017 V7III stator. I'm sure your stator is the same Chinese POS that was most likely built for a scooter. Usually one or more of the coils will be burnt out. A good electrical guy can test them, but Guzzi's PADS system doesn't seem to be able to do so properly.

Hallo,
thank you for your answers.
I have changes the stator and the regulator.
When I meassure the AC volts of the generator are all values ok.in Idle 35 volts with increasing the revs the volts are also increasing up to 130 Volts.
I have max. 12,8 Volts over the Battery.
When I check the short-circuit current, like shown in the service book on page 120 (ELE SYS)
I have only 12 Ampers at 2000 RPM also less than 20 Ampers at 4000 RPM.
May be the Rotor has a problem with the magnetism.
Here I am at the end with my "Latinum"

Even new a regulator can be bad. With that AC voltage output the suspect is the regulator. Are you reading battery voltage with a multi meter, or at the dash?

@Panetone I too am dealing with this problem (2003 V11), replacing the items you did as well. Afterward, no voltage difference. The most I get is 13.5 but it seems to keep the battery at full charge so I've just kept riding.

Yes, I agree, but my bike will not start after 25 miles.
I have several Guzzi´s, but never so much trouble like with the V9 Roamer.
My LM1, LM2 and T3 California are fantastic but not this "Modern" sh...

The Guzzi dealers are not very helpfully in my area.
I spend a lot of money without any possitive result.
In 40 years of riding MG and Ducati I had never so problems.
The HD shovel from 1980, the bike of my wife is more reliable. (She is joking abut the modern Guzzi)

The AC is OK so maybe try a different mfg of the regulator, you may have 2 bad ones. It does happen, 3rd time is a charm
There are other aftermarket regulators. Todd may have one in the store.

I will test a regulatore out of a bike from a friend which is working tomorrow.
My regulators where one OEM and one aftermarket.
the OEM works in the bike of my friend the aftermarket not well.
I think the the ampers are to less on so my generator has less power before the regulator.
But this are only thoughts of a motorcycle veteran.
