• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

Ciao and Buon Anno! I am pretty new to Moto Guzzi. My girlfriend rides a 1972 El Dorado. I have been a BMW rider for 16 years, 2007 K1200GT and 2013 K1600GT currently. Last year I purchased a 2000 V11 Bassa with 11,000 miles on it for her to ride on the cross-country trip we're planning this year because the idea of taking a 52-year-old antique bike with points, carburetors, mechanical drum brakes, tube tires and 100,000 miles on it more than a couple hundred miles from home gave me a lot of anxiety! Having never ridden V-Twins, the Bassa has been a fun bike to ride. We had the fortune of being able to visit Mandello Del Lario during Moto Guzzi's annual open house last year, it was an awesome experience. Thanks for having me, I look forward to learning more about these great bikes.

Congrats and welcome to the GT Forum. Fun on visiting the GMG last year. Hope you’ll add your info to our Registries in each section, and be forewarned, Guzzis are addictive and very durable as the Eldo shows. Plenty here with multiples of 100k miles on them, me included. Enjoy and hope to see you here often. Cin cin

Welcome and congrats on the Bassa. Got a 1999 one myself which I am currently getting back up and running. Also own the 97 Cali 1100i which is the 75th anniversary model. You'll love 'em.
