I am tempted to replace the clutch disc while the motor is out. But it's expensive and looks good. The Guzzi shop manual says "check that the disc is not worn to less than the specified thickness" and even has a photo of a guy using a caliper. But they do not list the number anywhere that I can find it.

Anybody know what the thickness of the clutch disk should be?

Mine measures 6.4mm. Here is a photo.

Sorry dont know the actual spec measurement but it looks in really good shape to me.Assuming the other side has the same amount of friction face to attatching rivet material.
How many miles has it done?
Ciao

23,000 miles by a not-very-agressive rider. No two-up. Yeah, I think it looks good too, I'd just feel better if I had a number.

Just as important as the thickness are the condition of the centersplines. At least on a big block. I see a little rust on the core of the plate. Any rust on the splines?
