Unless someone local can share, the OEM version you named I can get you for ~$95 + shipping ($204 retail from US dealers), and when in stock, our friends from MGCycle have a good alternative shown below. You'll have to email or call them direct for more info as they are not in stock, and like me, they probably have these made in small batch quantities.

Mgcycle just emailed. He sold his last two today!! How long would it take for you to get one. Also I was looking at parts fiche for rear seal and am not sure if what I’m seeing is right. Gu90405367 listed as “gasket ring” which looks like it could possibly be a crank/rear main seal for about 12 bucks or 976185 “engine seal kit” for 120. I’ve never had one apart and am not familiar with how it’s made just trying to round up parts before I tear it down. It’s the wrong time of year for this to be happening.

Which Guzzi do you have and the year? Some of the Tonti framed bikes had an issue with the bottom two rear main bolt holes. They were drilled through instead of being blind holes and are susceptible to oil leaks. Check with the Moto Guzzi National Owners club to see if there is anyone in your area that can help you.

I’ve got an 09 Norge I got it apart today and it’s the cap at end of camshaft. I got it fixed am going to make a tool to get it back together. Now that I see how it’s made I don’t think it’ll be that hard. I heard you could pull just the tranny but there isn’t room. I dreaded doing it but now that I’m into it I’m actually enjoying it.
