I have a local shop owned by a good friend. The shop does great work, but they are 99% Harley and Indian. I know they will take my Guzzi in, but I also know there may well be a time where I need a specialist. Can anyone recommend a reliable Guzzi shop/mech that's somewhere in the DFW, OK, AR, or LA range? I know there's AF1 in Austin, but that's 5+ hours away. I'm located in Shreveport, LA for reference.

Good luck in finding a shop closer than 5 hours away from you. The closest to me is in Pensacola around 3 hours from Covington, Louisiana. I have not taken my Stelvio to any shop in the almost 10 years of ownership. I am fortunate enough to be able to most service and repairs at home with the help of a friend.

Thanks Bob. I called a shop in the DFW area who apparently have a few mechs in their service department that they said are Guzzi certified techs. The shop seems to have overall positive feedback online. And it’s only 3 hours from here. Still I know that Austin, TX or Todd out in Malibu would be the best choices. Just not exactly easy to do.
