Does ABS assist both front & rear brakes or just the rear?

Just curious to understand if the ABS assist both breaks or not. in the PDF service manual of the Stone v7ii it's not easy to understand... it seems it could be only the rear (i remember once feeling the vibration on my foot but never on my hand, but i can be wrong)

Both front and back, you can see the encoder ring on both the front and the back.
 
Mayakovski is correct. There is a plate with segments cut out f &r. The sensor adjacent reads if these "on/off" discs are locking and therefore reduces the brake effort to the offending potential lock-up wheel. This technology has been in existence on cars and trucks since roughly the early '80s. It works. It does NOT prevent f******s from tailgating, sadly. I wish.......
