Occasionally I like to look at bike VS bike stats (HP, TQ, seat height, weight etc). Prior to purchasing this EV, I was interested in knowing how much larger it really was than my 850 Special. My wife likes to ride with me on the TTSE and SVTC, but not on the 850 Special. She isn’t comfortable without a top box to lean against. I showed her various pics of EVs with top boxes and she seemed OK with it. Long story short and for what it’s worth, I’ve taken some side by side pics for those that are like me and want to physically see the size comparison between an EV and an 850 Special.

For my slender middle age man stature, the 850 is one of the most well balanced bikes in the curves. I just LOVE to ride through the back road twisties. Hopefully, for
my wife’s sake, the EV proves to be another bike that she can enjoy riding on with me. I’ll eventually get rid of all my really big heavy bikes and just ride the Guzzis…at least that my current thinking.
