Hi there you Italian lovers,
My name is Luis Miguel. I´m from Portugal. I live near Lisbon.
Since I was 15 that I ride motorcycles. First the 2T then the 4 T. I had my crashes, scars, metal parts and screws and a lot of motorcycles.
I´m not new to the world of Italian machines. I had one Maserati Biturbo SI 2.0 V6 1987 and two MV Agusta. The F4 1078 312RR and the F3 675.
My trainning was as a mechanic at the Air Force back in the 90. I do all the maintenance in my bikes.
During the following week my Cafe Racer (born from a California 1100 carburated 1997) will arrive. The bike was handbuild by a Shop in Lisbon. I was not involved in the project. I bought it after from a Car Dealer.
I already read the maintenace and technical manual and notice that, according to the mechanical details, we are talking about a car engine mounted in a bike. However I have nothing against it. I just love it. It makes the aproach to repairs and maintenance a lot easier.
I´m sure I will need your help. When the bike arrives I will post pictures.
Ride safe.
