Well, today I got to take her out again for the first ride of the season.

I must have hit the jackpot because mine has none of the ills that some have had to deal with. šŸ¤ž No leaks, no high idle, no slamming into gear, and no pulling to the left.

Everything works exactly as expected and man o man is this motorcycle a barrel of monkeys worth of fun!

I cannot get over how very much a Moto Guzzi she is, and yet, she is unlike any other Moto Guzzi ever made. It's a real dichotomy. :D

I was able to take some nice country back roads and also blast on the freeway some. Power delivery on this motorcycle is spot on perfect. Roll on passing power is phenomenal. I can honestly find no fault with her at all. I'm so very pleased that I acquired her.

Now I need to get all of her saddlebags and accessories and stuff I have purchased onto her. Ugh. That's going to take a couple of days worth of work.

Oh, well, it's fun to work on my own stuff for a change. :)

Awesome to hear, Scott! And, itā€™ll only get better with timešŸ™ŒšŸ˜ā€¦

@BDS Did you get the clutch seal campaign done yet?

I contacted Cadre Cycle yesterday and Tim is going to get me in to get that and any other outstanding recall or campaign work done.

They always treat me First Class at Cadre Cycle. Great guys.

Not me. Still owes me hundreds of $.
My site, true facts.
You just reminded me. Think Iā€™ll publish the email exchange here and file with the BBB to start.

Iā€™m sorry that you had issue with them.

For every single business in the world, there will be 2 sides to every coinā€¦

All I can say is that it always has been a positive experience for me.

@scottmastrocinque - No, I havenā€™t had the clutch seal done, but will inquire when Iā€™m in the shop next. Almost 6k miles though, with no issues. I donā€™t know if thatā€™s an ā€œacross the boardā€ recall, or only applies to certain serial numbers? Iā€™ve had good dealings with Cadre, as a customer, for the past ten years. Theyā€™ve always been very accommodating (to the point of going way out of their way, offering to come pick up bikes several states away that ran into service issues). I guess $h!7 happens though ā€¦ sorry to hear about your experience @GTMĀ® ā€¦ I canā€™t imagine what the circumstances could have been.but, having dealt with them for many years, I know Enzo has a chill personality, and doesnā€™t typically let things get worked up. Must have been a misunderstanding. I digress, because I have no idea. Just know heā€™s done right by me (and, the many other customers I personally know - and, ScottšŸ˜, whom I donā€™t ā€œknow,ā€ but is certainly knowledgeable and seems to be a nice fella). Not sure how long the tiff has gone on, but I hope it can be resolved. Life is too shortšŸ˜•. Best regards!

Ha! Nice of you to say but there are those here who insist that I am meaner than cat shit quite frequently.

I think my motorcycle and yours are alike. No issues on mine either. šŸ¤žšŸ‘šŸ™

I love this bike! She is a hoot to pilot. I really enjoy riding her. Looking forward to some trips soon.

Ah, retirement is lovely! šŸ„°

@BDS BTW: Any time you want to hook up and ride, Iā€™m available! Would be nice to meet.

Also, if you are ever up this way, you are always welcome at the Moto Migliori!

I love company.

Thanks ScottšŸ˜šŸ™Œā€¦ Iā€™m usually riding KY, eastern OH or IN roads. But, if I ever head up your way, Iā€™ll msg you, and maybe meet up for a ride/lunch. Imagine, ā€¦two VerdesšŸ˜. Oh, full disclosure, I did have the one problem on day one upon delivery - faulty rpm sensor. A $25 part, but getting it took weeks. Cadre got it sorted under warranty, no issues, just the aggravation of waiting (and, tearing into a new bike). Good since, and youā€™re rightā€¦ a great bike to ride - fun, fun, funšŸ™ŒšŸ˜.

Bestā€¦

I wonā€™t air the laundry here on Scottā€™s post. He had a fork in the road to choose after years of business with me, that they solicited and failed me miserably, and he chose the one with terrible tact. I wrongly thought he would've been smarter.
Iā€™m extremely easy going too, else Iā€™ve had pulled the plug on this site long ago. Thing is, I'm not just some random customer, and in fact I'm extremely well connected and rooted in this industry, and 23+ years in Guzzi.

Ugh, well, Iā€™m sorry to hear that, Todd. Yeah, probably best to let it lie. I wish you well moving forwardšŸ‘šŸ˜.
