Went out 101 to play tourist in Bennington VT

Up ovah Hogback…man that’s a great ride…way too busy makin time for photos ~;
Onto I88…aftah tree hundrit miles…it was time for a ‘helmet off’ pit stop :woohoo:

Since this was mostly a slab day…decided to try to be a cool kid…my first on the fly photo

For ‘bout 50 miles I kept seeing two lights in the mirror…they’d get close…drop back…
get close…drop back…or was i spedding up...slowing down...got close
…and followed me in to the rest area...greetings xchanged and tire kickin began ;D

Morning heated up quick…think I gots about 4 ½ hour napz…
I needed the exercise so I walked the mile to breakies

The one and only Joe Eish…82 years young…still ridin Guzzi’s and Ohio’s biggest Guzzi dealer!

Walked the mile back down town for lunch and a swim in Lake Erie…then took a little nap back at camp!
All rested and ready for more festivities

Sunday brought foggy cloudy misty skies for the ride home.
Took 39 upta Rochester to pick up the 90slab.
39 was nice…not much to see it was so foggy…no action shots today.
I was looking for a tree and stumbled upon this interesting place

found my tree and some nifty knickknacks

wow…don’t see these every day…wish they were open

Stopped at Timmies before hitting the slabfest…

This gal was from Florida, headin to Laconia via Michigan UP!!!

Yes she complained ‘bout the cool dampness in the air

Since the weather wasn’t the best…I took the Mass Pike…this also kept the ride route to a krazy ol figure eight

Last gas stop on the Mass Pike I ran into this bub…pretty sure the ‘S is older than he is!!!
You betcha…that’s a 30rack strapped on the back of some ‘Mountainman Ice’ somethin or other beer…10 dollas worth! :lol:

Nice pics and great report! If you went from Bennington to I88 you most likely past within a few miles of my house. I was hoping to get to western NY this year but the scedule didn't work...again! Next year.
