• NOTICE: The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com completely lost his home on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone effected in this horrific disaster.

Happy new year everyone.
I'm in the process of purchasing a 2012 Moto Guzzi V7 Classic. Got it from a nearby dealer, looks like it was a trade-in from a guy buying another Moto Guzzi. Low miles (about 3500) and looks to be in pretty good shape. Heading over this Saturday to pick it up. Weather is supposed to be about 24F/-4C so I'm going to trailer it home. Winter is a good time for deals.

I've been riding about 20 years, lots of motorcycles moving through the garage. Up until now all Craigslist handyman specials, so I'm hoping for something more turnkey.

I'm going to no doubt have a bunch of questions about it (center stand? backrest? saddlebags? fluid changes?), looking forward to discussing with the experts here. I'll get some photos posted on Saturday.

Congrats in advance, and welcome to the GT Forum. Hope you’ll add your info to our Registry linked below once you land it.
The bike is at minor restoration age, so hopefully your dealer properly sorted it for you. Enjoy.

Will do - I just spent some time browsing the Registry, very cool. Trying to think of a good spot to take my official photograph.
And hoping for the best with the age and condition of the bike. I'm pretty handy to do some fixing but really looking to ride more than wrench with this bike. I still have two other Craigslist projects sitting in the garage. 🥴
