Hi, as someone who has no experience of social networking it took me a while to pluck up courage to join this site. But I browsed the forums and think there is some great information and advice. I'm the proud owner of a 1979 Le Mans II, with 60,000 miles on the clock, which over the last 40 years I have used to travel to work on, tour Europe, and even raced. After a complete rebuild in 2022 she is now reserved for rides through the Black Forest on sunny Sundays, and the occasional classic bike track event. But three weeks ago I sold my "day bike" (a BMW S1000R), and bought a Mandello V100S. I'm looking forward to putting a few more km on her and contributing to this site!

Welcome to the GT Forum, and thanks for your history with the brand. Always fun to see/read. Hope you'll add both to the Registries linked below with a few photos. Enjoy the site and the V100. Prost!

Hi, I am in Germany too, Now living by the Chiemsee. I moved to Germany after retiring, own a Classic Cali and no longer as sporty as I was. If you are down this way let me know.

Thanks, I will definitely do that. Please also know if you know of any big Guzzi events in Southern Germany or Austria - it would be good to meet some other Guzzi riders. And let me know if you are ever heading over this way too...

I only bought my Cali in April and did not get it until the end of May, I haven't found anything in Bavaria yet, nor Austria. I think there are more in Austria, the border is only a short ride away but will let you know if I find anything. There is a Guzzi club near Westerham (not far from here) I did write to them but so far no reply. I must write again!!! I also own a 125 Vespa and was in the local club but found the Bavarian accent very difficult. I think I may have the same problem with any local club. I usually find there is someone who also speaks High German which helps.
