Archery season got in the way of sorting out the 2003 EV “front end 60mph and above without passenger” wobble. I have made my harvest, pretended to be a butcher and will be back to the 2003 EV troubleshooting soon. During my time away, I was poking around in the GTM store to see if there were any items I needed more than groceries and came across the 2WS twin shocks. Unsure why I didn’t see these before, but they are made to order based on all the standard criteria. So, based on Todd’s @GTM® prior EV shock recommendations, I place my order on 29Oct. Three fast weeks later and they are on the way. For my application, I answered their questions and ordered the following:

Year/Make/Model: ‘03 EV
>> Length: 14.0”
>> Rider weight: 190 lbs. (in street clothes)
>> Pass. weight: 140 lbs. - 20% of time
>> Luggage weight: 35 lbs max. - 20% of time (includes tool kit and small mini- compressor etc)
>> Riding type (pick one): Sport, Sport Touring, Touring
>> Comments: daily rider which is more akin to the 80% “spirited” legal riding and the 20% touring with wife.

Regardless of whether these fix this bike’s wobble issue, I’ll do a small product review in the near future.

Hi,

I started to notice a wobble when I would let go of the Handlebars on my V7 III
( Good LORD man why would you ever log go of the Handlebars ARE you Insane  )
New tires front & rear corrected the issue.

I also installed a set of those shocks a while back, a drastic improvement over the OEM setup, much smother over serious bumps and cracks in the road !

Because I've been beating my head against the wall since 2018 on having people click on the STORE link at the top of every page (or three small dashes upper left on a mobile device), for products vetted by me personally. ;)
If you ordered on 29 Oct, I'm doing astonishingly well on getting them to you.
Like others, you can take my advice or figure it out on your own like I did over two decades ago. You won't get it fully sorted until you do the forks also. Balanced sag and damping is CRITICAL on a motorcycle. Car guys would laugh at only upgrading front or rear only.
Appreciate a review on the purchase page (mostly), and here works too given my words above.

I upgraded front and rear suspension on my B11 recently with GTM recommended products. I've learned over the years - slowly and sometimes painfully, because I'm not very smart - to listen to his advice, and I now suggest you do the same. my bike is completely transformed, a real joy to ride.

I've said this several times about bits purchased from the GTM store, but, again: "I can't believe I waited so long"

I know there are at least two other people posting on here other than me, so I understand how my bikes and each of their issues can easily get missed or forgotten.

For those that aren’t up to date with THIS EV, I’ve listened to and performed ALL of the detailed steps Todd and a couple others have repeated specifically to me and in prior posts. Todd is a god. He paved a way for all of us. I replaced the front fork springs already based on his conversations in previous posts (I search forum history before repeat asking). I’m down to the back shocks which took a bit to find, order and receive.

Lastly, I’ve visited the GTM store more times than my wife goes shoe shopping. I just never physically saw the verbiage below the 2WS twin stocks description in prior store visits.

Anyway, appreciate everyone’s replies. They’re consistent…

Thanks, yes. Most read very little these days, so if they only read your last post... I just like helping others from my hard-earned experience. I'm no god, heh.
Good to know on the STORE. A model sort is the best way to see all we offer. The only model we're struggling to get online is the V100, though we have many products for it. A simple model search in the search bar works too.
Thanks much for your business and posts.
