• Ciao Guest, The owner of this website and GTMotoCycles.com lost his home completely on the morning of January 8th in the L.A. Wildfire Storm. Most of his neighborhood is gone, and a few friends were killed along with their pets. The GTM SHOP and STORE are functioning normally, but we DEMAND EXTREME PATIENCE on orders as we are a SMALL business and Todd usually has his hands on nearly every order before it goes out. You can find more info on a post named L.A. Wildfires in the USA section. Our heart and best go out to everyone in this horrific disaster.

GTM E5 Fueling - V7-850 & V85TT E5

can you purchase the components in stages with no issues? I'm looking to get the AlienTech BT Flash tool first to get the initial improved tune you have created, then add the DynoJet PC6 & Autotune
I'm really struggling. IF I can revise the fuel tables, you can. I will only likely develop it for a stock bike with SAS though. All others must purchase full kit. Broad brush corrections on the stock ECU far from ideal.

Todd, at this point I am at the point of "damn the budget and full spend ahead". Once the full kit is ready, I have $$$ ready to purchase from your store. Given the results and feedback from others, I'd rather just do a little deficit spending and get the best experience right out of the gate.

Keep us posted, and thank you for your efforts!

We won't finalize it until first of September when Italy re-opens, but we've opened up full kit pre-ordering below. TIA.

I just took the plunge and purchased the whole setup for my ‘21 V85TT: full Werks exhaust kit + full fueling E5 kit + K&N filter + SAS evap!
Looking forward to a cooler running engine; linear acceleration without gaps; the beautiful Werks long exhaust.
It’ll be at least 60 days before i get it here in Bolivia because sending it all via air would be too expensive.

Just confirming.....a 2020 V85 would be considered an "E4," is that correct?
(And thus not applicable to this fuel kit at this time?)
Correct, E4, however since you're just in SD, this kit can likely be used. We'd just need your bike to do so at my shop in OC. Ping us via email on the contact page HERE.

First post of this thread is now updated. We are now shipping this device for '21+ V7-850 E5 models, and V85TT E5 models, however the TT must use full kit with PC6/AT-300.

Fantastic news! I’m anxiously waiting for my full kit for my E5 ‘21 V85TT. It’ll be a few months till it is in my hands but I’m patient. I’ll report in due time.

Picked up my V85TT from GTM in October and rode it back to Utah. Huge thanks to Todd and his crew for their excellent work! Based on my positive experience with my Eldorado (which has similar mods from Todd), I had no hesitation sending the V85TT straight to Todd for the fueling and exhaust upgrades.

Just a note, I did not get an opportunity to ride this bike stock, so I won't be able to do a direct before and after comparison. But I'm familiar with how my Eldorado was before the mods and may be able to make some inferences to what I experienced after the mods.

All said, we did the:
- full fuel kit linked here (the flash tool, the power commander (PC6), and auto-tune (AT))
- full werks exhaust
- SAS kit
- air filter & airbox mod

The exhaust sounds excellent and is very well made. It's got a deeper growl than you might expect. Not super loud where it would be annoying to others. Also doesn't drone at interstate speeds. If it's made similar to the California/Eldo 1400 exhaust then it's a precision slip fit with no gaskets or clamps needed, my mechanic was really impressed.

The throttle response is immediate. I also noticed this with my Eldorado after the mods. Before it was just a bit sluggish, even in sport mode. But the same incredibly snappy throttle response is here on the V85TT as well. Was an absolute blast to ride around in the city streets.

Less "lower rpm" issues. This is just an assumption for the V85, but my Eldo did not like to be below 3k rpm, would be a bit herky-jerky and just stutter making low speed maneuvers more of a song and dance. Something I got used to and could work around, but this was nearly eliminated with the fuel/air mods. Noticing similar behavior on the V85, handles lower rpms just fine.

One thing I trust but can't verify is operating temperature. Knowing this is air (fuel) cooled, throwing more fuel at these stock lean bikes should make it runner cooler.

There are only two things I'd want others to know regarding the auto tune (AT):
1. the small wires that feed into the device are a bit finnicky to keep tightened in place. make sure you have the AT placed somewhere that doesn't pull on these wires and keep a small flat head screwdriver with you on the bike - you may need to reinsert and tighten the wires if they come loose on the road.
2. on a cold start, wait ~30 seconds for the AT to kick in before riding off or you'll be in like a limp mode. this happened to me a couple of times and caught me off guard - but once the AT kicked on it was fine. (question for anyone: I don't have to do this with my Eldorado and it has similar mods (PC6, AT, etc.) - is this just is what it is?)

All in - it was a blast to ride back to Utah and I can tell based on other's feedback here these improvements are not unique to me. It's well worth investing in this bike and doing the full list of modifications above. Do not think that you can save money or get X% of the performance others received by not doing the full kit, you won't get the performance you want for the price you want to save.

Any questions or comments let me know - thanks all.

Thanks for the post here, and product review pages Chris! Very welcome, and again appreciate the business. Happy to be of help facilitating your new bike purchase and getting it properly PDI’ed and broken in on our dyno, prior to our FK install.
Since you didn’t ride one stock, they are excessively plugged for running compared to how it is now. You are @80+ rwhp, and it will get better as you get miles on it.
The few we’ve done were a bit cranky on cold start. Perhaps one of the rare few others who have our kit installed can comment.
AutoTune sensor wires are once and done if properly set. Most we see in house are good unless user installed.
Enjoy it, sure you will!

Making progress here on installing my full GTM Werks kit.
Monday work starts on mine in a buddy’s bike shop. I’ll have him do an initial dyno run in stock state. Then he’ll do the install bit (with me watching around hoping to learn something on the way). Plan to wrap up with a 2nd dyno run once the Werks Kit is up and running.
FINALLY!

Email us direct with any questions, and some tuning will be required for your fuels. AutoTune is best for the job unless the Dyno operator is well versed using it to help it along. I'll keep an eye out.

Hey,

I'm not sure where to post this, or to ask the question correctly. And at the risk of sounding like a newb.... I do want to update my bike.

I have a 2023 V7 and I want to do the exhaust update, and I am assuming I need to do a map.

I am curious about the best exhaust options; there are short pipes and standard pipes. (i do like the standard length; that looks like stock.)

Short Length Pipe:
Standard Length Pipe:
Engine Map:

So, I am not sure what I don't know and what to buy exactly. Wondering if someone from GTM can help take my money. :)

For reference, these two Youtube videos have me sold:

(the sound only, not the shape + look)

Thanks in advance,
Marcel

You nearly struck out on every request we have here on what NOT to do/post. I revised all above.
I moved your post to the relevant map/ECU thread here for this model.
Tons of info in this section. Mention of any other people or means of ECU map updates NOT allowed here.
I revised your links to what you are looking for. You'll also need our GTM E5 SAS Kit, and read up on Tip/Evap delete here. Again this is EXTREMELY well covered by simply looking or searching.
Your exhaust has 2 cat-cons per side (also found here in a search), so the sound will not be too similar to the older models you linked.
We have a long discussion on this as well here.
This is a Tech based self-help site, not an answer on demand social media platform.
Links to the E5 model for Ago mufflers on YouTube HERE.

oh wow. so sorry. i am old... and I am new to this. In my niaeveté, I thought said MAP named mentioned was you guys. 🤦‍♂️

Thanks for not loosing your @$#@! Todd, sorry to hear about your home and your friends and neighbours (just saw the banner notice).

I am having trouble using the search to find the info I am looking. I'll keep working on that.

I'll watch the Youtube links, thank you. HERE.

Thanks for correcting the links, I believe I need x3 items to execute this.

Here are the items needed:
Item #1: tip/evap delete - GTM E5 SAS Kit
Item #2: exhaust (stock length or close to it) - Agostini V7-850 E5 Long Black Mufflers
Item #3: Flash Tool - GTM ECU BT Flash Tool

Thank you again!
