Full disclosure, I’m not a MG owner…yet. I’ve been eyeing the Mandello S and I’m nearly ready to pull the trigger, although I may wait to see what the 2025 models have to offer. I came to this forum to see what mods people are doing, what issues people are experiencing, and how easy is it for a DIY’er to the DIY maintenance things. While going over the owner’s manual I chuckled that I should see an official MG dealer to top off the oil. I think that and similar statements will be ignored.

My current rides are BMW 1200GS and K1600GT. I envision the Mandello to be my short-haul, around town go-to.

MG was one of my first rides. My dad had an early 1970s model which he allowed me to ride soon after I got my motorcycle endorsement at 16 years old. He bought this bike “in the crate” and I remember riding along with “pop” to go get it. Here is a photo of him and my mom on that bike.

Welcome to the GT Forum, and in advance on being back in the Famiglia. Great photo, thanks for posting.
Hope you dump at least one of the BM-Trouble-Yous for the Mandello. My recommendation is to get a well sorted used one with miles, or wait for a 2025 model. See you in the V100 Mandello section.
