I registered today: it seemed like the right thing to do after I found some useful tips posted by various members. So this is me saying hello. I have a 1200 Sport 4V (2V/cyl) from 2008. I have put 50K km on the clock, and it’s been a real joy, except for the maddening times when it hasn’t. ‘Issues’ have mostly been starter/circuit problems, and now a mysterious oil leak. I know there are members here whose knowledge far exceeds mine. Still, I have done a few fixes by and by, and gathered a bit of knowledge which I can share if it could help any. I have toyed with getting a different ‘bike for at least the last five years. Instead, I just seem to acquire more tools and bits and bobs to keep my Guzzi on the road. So I may as well admit that I’m probably hooked: I’ll just have to find the relevant fixes as and when. Greetings to all, then.
