Just got it firing!
Just bought a slightly used 2021 V85TT Centenario last weekend. Traded in a K1200LT, so lost about 400 pounds of metal and plastic to push around.
I've been wanting a Moto Guzzi for about the last 4 years when I first saw a V7. I've been riding since the 80's, and honestly wasn't even aware of Moto Guzzi til recently.
I previously had a 2012 Honda NC700X that I traded for a Yamaha Stratoliner in 2021. At that time, I liked the NC700's size, but the seat was torture, and a little too tall. I ride all year, and the chain sucked when it was time to clean it off but its freezing outside. It got almost 70mpg, but the 50 horsepower it used to get that 70mpg was not very exciting. It was a great commuter, but ultimately i got bored with it, and slowly stopped riding it. At that time I really wanted a similar bike, but with more horsepower and shaft drive. Stupid me, never saw the V85TT until after I traded the Honda out.
Here I am now after discovering the V85TT, with more horsepower, shaft drive, cruise control, etc... I'll keep the Stratoliner for riding on the weekends with the wife, but looking forward to putting some miles on this V85 too.
