  • Like the new V100, GuzziTech is full throttle into the future! We're now running on an all-new server and we've updated our Forum software. The visual differences are obvious, but hopefully you'll notice the super-fast speed. If you notice any glitches or have any issues, please post on the Site Support section at the bottom. If you haven't yet, please upgrade your account which is covered in the Site Support section or via the DONATE tab above, which gives you full site access including the DOWNLOADS section. Hello all! Frank from northern NJ here. Just got my first Guzzi and I’m in love. Has some quirks so I’m coming here to try and track down and understand, but at the moment I just wanted to say hi! I’ll register the bike as soon as I can. Nice to meet you all!

"Has some quirks"

Say it isn't so! :giggle:

Seriously, welcome, Frank. You'll soon figure out those moto-idiosyncrasies, and even find (nesrly all of) them charming.

That center pic of yours is so simple, and so nice.

There's probably a better word than "quirks" to describe things that we deal with concerning our Guzzis ("character", "post-sale R&D", "customer participation") but we put up with it because once they're sorted, you can't beat them for utility, style, longevity, and reliability.

And this is just the locale in which to sort them out.

TBF the quirks are more mine than the bike’s. She’s lovely and rides like a dream. Coming from a life of sport bikes, it took a few miles to realize it doesn’t wind out 16,000rpm and likes to mostly chug around in gear 3. I’ve apparently also been spoiled by a life of slipper clutches, so now I feel like I’m really riding a bike for the first time ;)

The post sale r&d has been the real fun as this bike has had quite the wrench history for only being a few years old.
