Just got it firing!
Hello fellow Guzzi guys!
I’m new to the brand. Bought a brand new 2021 V85TT Adventure Giallo Sahara from AF1 Racing in early 2022. Took me over two years to bring it home to Santa Cruz, Bolivia. It arrived two weeks ago and so my Guzzi journey is off to a start.
I haven’t yet seen any other V85s here, so it may be the only one in country so far. We don’t have a Guzzi dealer anymore, we had one that closed down about 6 years ago. My nearest dealer is in Tucuman, Argentina; which is 1200 km south of me. That was a big factor when I decided to buy one and bring it, all servicing will be via third parties with little to no experience on it.
The Guzzi is joining a few others in my stable (1981 Honda XL250R, 1991 BMW R100 Classic, 2014 Suzuki DR 650, 2014 BMW R1200R). I just turned 60 so I’m beginning to think about travel bikes with less weight, so I may start trimming down my collection over the next couple years.
