Dynoking
Just got it firing!
I fulfilled a childhood dream yesterday. I purchased a red '17 California. Rode it home from CT to NYC. I have a couple of HD Road Kings, a HD Fat Boy, and a BMW K16 GT. All nice bikes with their own personalities but... The reach of the handle bars, sitting position and height of the floor boards are the best I've been on. I find the switch gear is the easiest to reach and intuitive. The floor boards are like standing on shag carpeting. The transmission is the quietest and smoothest of the other two brands. The throttle and clutch control are more car like. Much better than the twitchy K16 and soft HD throttle by wire. Just have to get use to the side to side shake of the Guzzi V twin! Love it!
