TombaLaBomba
Just got it firing!
As I have mentioned somewhere here before, my stock skid plate buckled after I took my new Stelvio down a goat trail along the north rim of the Grand Canyon.
I immediately replaced it with another skidplate, but it was rather narrow for my taste.
Consequently, I purchased the latest offering from the crout’s Hepco & Becker.
This here post is to inform fellow Stelvio owners that their skid plate will not accommodate the Agostini aftermarket headers.
Ergo, I took my plasma cutter to remove the vertical side plates and it now fits rather nicely.
Tip, it is difficult (nigh, impossible) to mount it following the order recommended in the instructions. However, if you pre-assemble the two halves beforehand, then mount it on to the engine, the entire thing comes together just fine.
Take it easy guys
