Just got it firing!
Hello, have been a regular on the Guzzi Exchange Australia forum but it appears to have died some years back. See some names from there on here, which is nice. On the mid north coast of NSW Australia. Have a 1982 Mk 3 Le Mans. Purchased in 1988 with 20,000km on the clock, now with 180,000km and still going well. Its the family heirloom, not wanting or allowed to part with it. Have only ever owned four bikes in my 40+ years riding, first a Z650, then briefly a XS1100, next a Z1300 then found the Mk3 and have never wanted for another bike again. A quick search of the forum and I can see plenty of great advice and input which only makes owning a Guzzi that much more enjoyable. Am happy to do my own mechanical and electrical work but haven't required a whole lot over the years. Got the shop to replace valve guides years ago as I didn't think I'd ask the wife if I could put the heads in the oven for a few hours. Other than that, uni joint, new rings, rear engine oil seal, clutch plates check etc, happy to do myself.
