highway pegs on floorboards?

Hi folks,

I was wondering if there was a solution for mounting highway pegs to the floorboards of a C1400 Custom. I don't have engine guards and don't think I could get a good position for the pegs on them anyway.

I like to hang my heels off the ends of the floorboards on longer rides and if there were pegs there it would be ideal.

I've seen some for Harleys, Victories, but don't know if MG has something specific for this motorcycle.

I thought I saw something from Kuryaken, highway pegs that mount on the floor boards. If not Kuryaken, google should come up with something for highway pegs mounting on floorboards.
 
Thanks folks. I looked at the heelhooker and various other options and my $8 solution is this. Two 1/4-inch beam clamps from Lowes. Somewhat embarrassing, but it does exactly what I want which is stretch my leg and rest it on a peg. Now to figure out how to make it look somewhat presentable/stock.

I'm late to this discussion, but thought I'd share this in a thread that was appropriate. I just installed a set of Kuryakyn Flip Blades on my Eldorado footboards. These kits are made for Harleys, but do fit the Moto Guzzi foot boards, with some slight modifications. They are available for either extended (#7540) or reduced reach (#7556), depending on your personal inseam measurement. I installed the extended reach version, which seem to work quite comfortably for my 34" inseam. I wouldn't get the extended reach for an inseam less than 32". They do stick out quite a bit, which means you will scrape them in tight turns, but, there are sacrificial scuff pads on the bottom to prevent damage.

I like having the ability to stretch out my legs on long rides. I really like that I don't have to add bars to the bike to accomplish this. The construction of the foot boards and rubber pads is so similar between Harley and Moto Guzzi, I have to believe that they are produced by the same supplier. The ability to retract these pegs under the foot boards give them a stelalth-like characteristic, which I think is pretty cool.
