Be careful out there guys, just spent five days in hospital with a broken collarbone, broken shoulder blade and five broken ribs courtesy of some bastards diesel spill on a nearby roundabout that I couldn’t avoid.
Thankfully!! I was on my 125 scooter (which sustained very little damage considering), and not on the California.
Unfortunately this now means the summer is out and possibly the planned trip to cover all the Balearics in one hit in October.
Be safe, and remember if you smell diesel clench that crimper, hold on and hope for the best.
 
Oy... bummer! Well heal up fast!
Yes, diesel or antifreeze this time of year end in the same result.

Unfortunately no more goodies to fit. Fuelling done, air box/filter done, mufflers done, suspension done and unless the "H" pipe goes, I'm sorted. But hey I'm always open to suggestions.

Sure hope you heal up fast and glad you seem to be in good spirits (all things considered)!
 
Welcome back!
Me too when on my V65C went down to a roundabout full of soapy water after a summer rain, but luckily I was going at around 20mph and the bike got just some light scraping to the engine crash guards, and some little shoulder/ankle bumps on me...
