GRiSO owner who doesn’t ride enough☺️…going to Italy soon and planning on taking the train from Milan up to Mandello for a half-day, to visit the museum/factory (will be in Como/Bellagio the day prior). Any advice/tips appreciated (navigating to the museum/factory, cafe for lunch?).
 
The factory museum is only open on Friday and Saturday from 10-6 and this can change without notice if the Docent is ill or unable to come.

The factory itself is only open at events during the year.

Always check online before going up there.

The train station is literally across the street from the factory.

We passed each other!

I arrived in Mandello del Lario on Wednesday, then I rode the rented "Mighty 125cc" Vespa to Lecco and Como on Thursday.

The weather was beautiful but the rain of the previous days had closed several roads in Como due to residual flooding but still, it was a fantastic day!

Friday I went to the museum.

Tried to get a peak at the new construction but even my friends at the factory said they couldn't get me in the construction area. 🙃
