Indicators won’t cancel

2008(57) Breva 1100. Indicators will not cancel with switch. I replaced left hand switch with second hand one that worked for a while. Tried another second hand switch and still doesn’t work.
Sometimes work on first start up for a few minutes.
What else could be causing this other than switch?
 
It seems to me that if 3 switches didn't solve the problem it is likely to be elsewhere.
It's well reported that the dash on the CARC bikes suffer from moisture issues and water bridging terminals could give some strange results
Might be worth taking the dash off the bike and sticking it in the airing cupboard to dry for a week to see if things improve.

He was buying used switches. They fail with age. Best to bite the bullet and just purchase a new one. Part number is 05738030.
