Just got it firing!
Old injector boots were perished. Pretty simple to swap. You need a release tool. You can buy a whole selection on eBay for a few pounds.
Slide the old boot off the back of the plug
Small screw driver on the back of the plug and there’s a retaining clip that needs to be released to allow wires to come out
Slide the release tool in the front and the connector can be taken out the back. Make a note of which wire goes in which hole. Remove second connector. Cut off old boot
Tiny bit of spray oil/ lubricant. Slide one connector into new boot, followed by second behind it. You might need to slightly bend the ‘barbs’ back out so they latch into plug housing. Bit if spray and push then back into the correct holes. Lock the clip on the back back in. Push boot over.
These fit nicely over both the plug and are snug of the wire so not water ingress.
Took longer to write this than do the second one!
These convoluted ones resemble the originals and sit so much better than the straight ones that are more commonly available.
Took me 15 mins in total
