Hello everyone,

I have a few questions.

Has anyone had any issues with tubes tires on v7-850 special?

Has anyone switched out the spoked rims on the special with the rims on the stone?

and

Do you prefer the spoked rims over the cast?

Thank you.

I wanted the spoked wheels, so I got the special. However, I didn't want to mess around with tubes as the bike is my daily and if I get a flat I want to be back on the road quickly, so I installed an Outex tubeless conversion kit. I've got almost 20k miles on the conversion and it still looks perfect and holds air perfectly. I would look into it if you prefer spoked wheels.

Wow thanks for the information @DK90, I really appreciate it. I might go that route. Did you feel like the process for converting was difficult?

If you know your way around a motorcycle, are mechanically inclined, and have the tools. I’d say go for it. Just need to be very thorough during the prep process. It was not what I would consider difficult.

Great information. Thanks again.
