The Console is being warranty replaced due to paint bubbles on the needle and I have noted on a couple of occasions, greying out of the lcd screen (my main reason for pursuing replacement).
My concern is that the shop is a "newbie" to the Stelvio and may not posses the knowhow to reset the computer after new install.
Does anybody out there know if there are any particular things you need to do in order to get the new Console to recognize the heated grips, fog lights etc? I know that the shop does not have the "Axion" computer, is it needed?
Thanks in advance :D

You might want to check your spark plug caps to make sure they are not shorting against the valve cover. Very common for the insulation around the cap to be compromised when the plug wires are removed and the instrument panel can "grey out" when this happens.

What cgalardi said. Messed up spark plug caps and cause interference with the dash, causing it to lock up and such.

It should be a plug and play thing, EXCEPT for the security system. I assume that you need BOTH keys, and you need to go into the menus and reset the security system for them.
