Just purchased new old stock 2023 v 7 stone special. Picked it up read the manual and proceeded to break it in and that itself can be dangerous on California roads with everyone driving 80 + MPH.

Welcome! Always interesting in other people's riding experiences. It's great that you're breaking your bike in right ... but outside of the I-5 and the I-205, EVERYONE around Manteca can't be driving 80 MPH. The map shows what looks to be some lovely riding just to your west, where you can give it a proper break-in; on and off the gas, up and down hills, various reasonable speeds ... that's what bikes like on a break in. Droning down an Interstate would be the worst thing for it ...

Mind you, I've only ridden in California once, and that was up and down the coast centered on Petaluma on a BSA A10 when the BSA International Rally was held there in 2014, but still and all .....

Enjoy!
