My Stelvio was delivered back to me this morning after having the NGK plug caps fitted to cure the misfire. AS the chap left it on my driveway I looked wistfully at it thinking what a great looking bike it is and how much I'm looking forward to riding it again, as I did so a pal turned up and asked why I was staring at my bike, I replied I was admiring the good looks of it.
At this point my mate said in his best loudest italian accent ' eeeetttts bella, bella, bellaaa..emburg!'
''You ba*tard' I exclaimed 'it's not that bad', 'Pig ugly mate' he said.

What do you think ? and thats her.

LOL! I guess the Stelvio has looks that you either love or hate. I named my Stelvio "Silvia Dionisio" due to the protruding orbs that house the headlights. I think of my bike looking more like Silvia than Bella Emberg.

Cheers,

Bruce

aye bruce that silvias a canny lass, n*ps like scammel wheel nuts as well :cheer:

I've never thought the Stelvio was particularly attractive, but certianly not butt ugly either. Kind of middle of the road. The compliments I get wherever I go lead me to believe that a lot if people like it.

I know what you mean Keith. This afternoon a chap from the gas and electric company visited to read the meters which are situated in my garage. He was taken aback by the Stelvio commenting that it was an impressive looking bike and also the fact that he has seen very few moto guzzis about. He was a biker himself, owned a sakacrappy zzr1100 :D no wonder he was impressed! (actually I quite like some kawasakis, in fact I'm trying to persuade my mates brother in law to sell me his 1979 Z1000mk2)

The Stelvio is a hell of a lot better looking than the GS. The GS adventure is a sharp looking bike from the side, but the bulbous tank and skinny front tire look goofy from the front, I think. And the regular GS looks goofy from every angle....

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder....
I love my Black V-Strom 1000. Surely not a beauty contest winner but who Cares when it works this good!

** It goes without saying my Norge is Dead Sexy....Just wish It ran as well!

The only complaint I ever had about my V-Strom was the way the air came around the fairing & tank and ran up my torso and into the bottom of my helmet. Created quite the buffet. I find the Selvio more enjoyable in almost every way.

Same here, most people at work think it's beautiful..1 guy who rode an Aprilia RSV4, bought a Stelvio because he loved the looks of mine.. Now he's riding the Stelvio to work and keeps the RSV4 for the racetrack. Another one had to replace his old Varadero, he cancelled his order on a R1200GS and changed it to a Stelvio.. Needless to say my dealer is very happy with me ;)

Personally I think it's dead sexy when looking at it from behind from a couple of meters away. Sleek and powerful

Since I took her a bath today .... all spit-shine, washed behind the ears she wanted me to take a picture of her to show yous all how beautiful she was.

I'm not sure the Stelvio is a handsome motorcycle, but dang does it draw the attention wherever it goes, and the reviews/remarks of its appearance are rave.
