just installed the V7 hybrid fork kit

https://gtmotocycles.com/collections/suspension/products/gt-v7-v7-ii-hybrid-fork-kit

On my ‘13 V7. Easy install, just pulled off the bars and payed them over the headlamp, unscrewed the fork caps remembering they were going to pop out if I want ready to contain them. Removed the old guts and slid in the new. One hour start to finish. Immediately could tell they were totally different and a quick ride and adjust confirmed it is a transformation. I still feel this terrible sense of guilt that I didn’t replace the fork oil, but this bike has no drain and removing the fork tubes involves disassembling The Who front end, so for now it is what it is. I did add 30 ml to each side to make up for all the oils that clung to the springs. Maybe in the spring I will commit to the full rebuild.

Little by little this little bike is becoming a performer! I found some used Sato rearsets and ordered the LSL speed bars. New Mistral slip ons and Todd’s ECU flash. Next I need to replace the slightly-better-than-stock shocks with some better ones, and replace the speed demons with Conti Road Attack 3s. Then I will be done (ha! Until I decide I need that 4-valve 820 kit...)

What else should I put on my list?
