Just got it firing!
Gidday to you all,
I'm the second owner of a 2023 V85TT Travel, E5 compliant, with around 9000km (5000 miles) on the odo. I'm 71 years old, and have adopted the Guzzi because it feels comfortable and user friendly after 50+ years of continuous motorcycling, mostly on fast Ducatis. I got hooked into the retro thing when I recently bought my wife a Triumph Street 400, and found myself admiring her bike more than mine. The last Guzzi owned was a V7 Café 15 years ago, with the best looking (and slowest) of the 744cc V-twins. I put Ikon shocks and a full Zard exhaust on that bike and it sounded way faster than it went. There were five motorcycles in the garage back then, so there were always speedier alternatives available. That V7 was flawed but fun. First impressions of the V85 are that there's less of the flaws but the potential for grin-cracking riding pleasure remains. Cheers, Paul
