--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just installed new bearings in the steering head and put it all back together, but the nut at the top of the shaft when done up tight still has 4 threads showing ( i seem to remember the shaft being flush with the top of the nut.
At first try the nut would not grab at all so i gave the bottom of the shaft a few decent taps and got a few more millimetres of play. A second try yielded no more play, so i assume that's it.
Should the tree's flop from side to side with no resistance ?, or should there be some resistance?. At the moment there is some resistance but it's nice and smooth with no notches.
Can someone please measure their's from the top of the lower tree to the underside of the top tree.
Thanks
