Hey Guzzisti, hope all is well.

I got a 2013 Stelvio and am planning to replace the fork cartridges. Anyone has any experience with Misano? I know Matris is highly recommended, but Misanos are 40% less expensive.

Thank you.

They are different in price because they are very different in quality!

Both Andreani Misano and Matris are offered from GTM here in the STORE, and the Misano is good quality but purchasing the ultra-high quality Matris will allow you to get bespoke equipment which is custom made to your actual physical specifications.

FOR THE $300 difference, you might want to seriously consider this.

The Matris is 10x better. Hands down.

To me, Misano vs. Matris is like comparing a standard Marzocchi setup against an Öhlins.

Hope this helps.

Thank you Scott.

I was hoping the two brands were comparable... Guess not. I was eyeing the Matris kit in the store as well.

Do you happen to know what weight the most heavy duty springs for the Matris kit are rated for? I am a heavy set dude and frequently ride 2 up and/or with a sidecar attached. I adjusted the stock suspension compression and rebound wise and that helped tremendously, but I feel there is room for improvement.

Welcome!

You’re fast! I was still editing my reply. Please take a look again.

Send technical questions to:

sales@GTMotoCycles.com

or

info@guzzitech.com

Put “Matris suspension question” in the subject. You will get a reply in a day or two.

GTM will get you setup with all the information you can want. 👌👍
