Hi,
I have just finished stripping of the usual flakey/bubbling white paint from the engine and box, did it the hard way using Rustins Strypit which was time consuming and messy but did the job and I didn’t want to strip the engine and box down.
I’d prefer to return the engine to it’s original white finish, or off white as mine didn’t look like pure white to start with, or maybe they just get that way with age?
Has anyone done this, got a paint code,Or got any recommendations?
Thanks

Your not gonna like it...
but I think the best option would be powder coat...
I think the paint won’t last without some serious prep and primer.

There is some Really tough suspension stuff called POR-15, I don’t know if it comes in white ?
I searched and it’s advertised as Rust preventer- but some race people were doing frames with it.
Like 2 part epoxy paint.

Hi, and thanks,
looks like a good product with the right prep, but doesn’t look like they do it in white. I could only find
It in black,grey or silver.

I was warned the Black two part stuff DID NOT COME OFF of clothing / Parts / skin, so keep it away from or Cover anything you did NOT want Black.
Be Extra careful with it !!!

I have No idea about the Spray on stuff...

Have Fun !
Don
