Hey everyone. I just received a 1954 pretty much all original Airone 250. I was pretty excited to receive it after a long sail from Italy so I put all of the fluids back in it and got it fired up last night. I can’t wait to go out for a ride once I go thru it and make sure it’s road worthy. I look forward to reading all of the excellent posts and joining in some of the discussions.

Congrats and welcome to the Forum! Your first Guzzi? My very first ride on a bacon slicer was aboard my good friend John in CT’s Airone in the late ‘90s. I’ll go digging for a photo he took for me.
Please add your info to our Registry below. See you there, enjoy/cheers!

That’s current. I bought it out of Italy and had it shipped over. Took me about 6 months to get it. I’m hoping the timing and carb adjustments are all correct and I can just check out the brakes, give it a once over, and start riding. I did get it started last night and it seemed to run ok. The idle may have been a little low but that could have been an incorrect air adjustment lever on my part. I plan on tinkering with it more today.

I don't know what models they were but there were a couple at the national rally. Even when they were idling by in first gear you could almost count the power pulses.
